The bilingual publication "Listy do Miłosza|Briefe an Miłosz" was presented in Poland during the gala "Laur dla Mecenasa" by Villa Decius on 16 February 2012.
The book contains all essays created within the framework of last year's HALMA project in German and Polish translation and was funded by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation.
Die zweisprachige Publikation "Listy do Miłosza|Briefe an Miłosz" wurde am 16. Februar 2012 auf der Gala "Laur dla Mecenasa" der Villa Decius dem polnischen Publikum präsentiert. Das Buch enthält alle im Rahmen des Projekts entstandenen Essays in deutscher und polnischer Übersetzung und wurde finanziert durch die Stiftung für Deutsch-Polnische Zusammenarbeit.
Am 1. Dezember 2011 wurde die deutsch-polnische Publikation "Briefe an Milosz" im Polnischen Institut Berlin - Filiale Leipzig vorgestellt.
On 1 December 2011 we presented the German-Polish Publikation "Letters to Milosz" at the Polish Institute Berlin - Filiale Leipzig.
The winners of the German-Polish (photo)graphic competition organized as a part of the HALMA project "Letters to Milosz" have been selected.
In the bilingual publication of the essays you will not only find letters written to Milosz by eleven international authors, but also photos took by Iwona Boruszkowska, Gosia Hannemann,
Vinzenz Kratzer and Peter Kreibich.
The publication is made possible with a support of the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation. Translation from Slovenian into Polish was provided by the Slovenian Book Agency. The Polish Book Institute took over the costs for the translation of the French texts into Polish.

Für die deutsch-polnische Publikation, mit einer Auflage von 600 Exemplaren, der Essays, die im Rahmen des HALMA Projektes “Letters to Miłosz“/ „Briefe an Miłosz“ entstanden sind, suchen wir
graphisches Material junger polnischer und deutscher Künstler und Künstlerinnen.

Thanks to the support of the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, the international project Letters to Milosz will be
continued. The previously online available essays and the three selected texts from the RADAR magazine will find its place also in a bilingual
(German-Polish) publication.
Currently we are looking for graphic design works e.g. black and white drawings, collages, photographs, etc. of young Polish and German artists, which could accompany the
essays.
The first "Letters to Miłosz" have already been written and are on their way to their audience. The readings started in mid-March and the following dates have just been scheduled:

HALMA met its project partners from 20th - 21st January in Prague in order to prepare the further organization of the project and the schedule of events. Spending 2 interesting days in this beautiful city, we discussed the upcoming events and possibilities for a cooperation with other projects of the Miłosz Year, such as "Europe of Bridges" of the Polish Borderland Foundation in Sejny.
